oh i am tiiipsy

hello world this is jake. a speck of dust in this place you call earth. i am not right in the mind. hheehheh yes i am drunk. and the things i might say in thi s blogs comes out as quick as a broken faucet.

hello. is it me your looking for? that line from a song just popped out of my head. anyway, i just came from my friend's bday party. his name is janos and he is an aspiring doctor. that party was wicked. i got to see my friends from high school that i haven't seen for awhile. some of them retain their personal qualities yet some of them have changed. take for example jan yap.

this guy has been my neighbor since childhood. back when i was staying with my grandmother. this kid was so shy during high school but today he is as loud as a blue whale(inside joke)
this goes to show that one can never fully understand someone completely.

have you ever tried to write something about yourself. let's say you fill in the "about me" category in a social media site, you try as best to tell who and what you are but when you read it the following day, yuou find that what you wrote is not completely you. there are still things that are lacking and you want to add. when you grow up, people do often ask about how you place in the world and most often we answer them by telling them our position in our job and how much we earn. as if these aspects are the only thing that matters in our lives.

as human beings, we are as diverse and as fluid as the ocean. we cannot be contained by mere words and roles that society weighs down upon us. we create our own identity; our own destiny. clearly we are placed in this world for some purpose that we cannot truly comprehend but one thing is for sure though, we are not placed in this earth to just rot and be forgotten in history.

i know i have a purpose here on earth. i am the only one who can see the world through my own eyes. i am the only one who can feel the things that i feel. the greatest of those who have been remembered throughout century have been those people who knew what they were born to do so in this world. and that is where i am now, to know what and who i want to become. that is when real life starts to kick in. when you ask yourself, "who do i want to be?" it's like swimming against the current, not submitting to what life gives you and building a path to what you truly want in life.

frequently, there are occasions when we make our own choices. oftentimes, there are instances that some choices are done by others. yet sometimes, there are times that you do not have any choice at all....
