in my world

this artwork of mine was created last 2008. my very special friend gave me this wicked ass present for xmas. it's a kid's art activity book called scratch and sketch. i'm planning to compile all my works on that book and frame it.

gone too soon

first uploaded artwork using the cam of my mobile phone. this piece depicts the sadness of the little girl having to lose her balloon. the feeling of helplessness as she looks at it fly away is seen in her eyes. things come and go but what hurts the most is that when something or someone leaves you without warning. unexpected events can bring deep sadness but with it, it can also bring great lessons and strength.

REALIZATION!

i have come to realize that one thing that can make my mind feel at ease at the end of the day is that when i know that i have created something by using my god given talents. so from this day, i will make it a point that i make something everyday. and i will post my works here in my blog! hehehe. exciting! for today, i can sleep knowing that i have helped my friend by making a design for her upcoming business. don't have the design with me as of the moment but i will post it as soon as i can.

C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E-S-O-N-G SONG!!!!

Last Saturday, February 20, 2010, was a very special night for me and my close friends for we held our very first Smores night. We had the shindig over at Slater's soon to be grandiose house up in Busay. It was a very mushy night indeed!

Early during the day, Slater and I met up in Ayala and we bought stuff for the occasion. We weren't sure how much to buy so we ended up buying more than what was needed. Now we have realized that a Smores night for 10-15 people only needs 1 pack of marshmallows, 5 solo packs of Graham crackers, a bottle of chocolate syrup, 1 pack of hotdog balls or longganisa and some bbq sticks. Take note that the sticks should be long enough for one to have a comfortable distance from the fireplace. Since our sticks weren't that long, we improvised by tying 2 sticks together.

The gang met up at IT park then bought Tanduay and Lychee ice tea for the infamous AD mix before heading up to Busay. I do say it is infamous since this drink can make you want to do things that you don't normally do when you are sober. Well, all alcoholic drinks make you do stupid things but this drink in particular makes you do it faster. How to make this drink? Simple. Mix Tanduay and the powdered ice tea. Without water. You'll need a lot of ice for this drink to be enjoyed fully. ispiso!


The night was perfect. the gust of the wind wasn't too strong, the view of the city lights was amazing, we had a big patch of cloudless sky directly above us so the stars graced us with their presence. With good food, good view, good poison and good company, the first Smores night was awesome. totally effing awesome!


We ended our night by downing the AD mix and then acting like crazy animals (more like monkeys gone loco!) I can't wait to have another crazy night like this to happen again. Actually, I think we're going to have our 2nd Smores night tonight! Let's get it on!

Affection Series Tees

My dad and I have this baby project in the making. We call it the Affection Series. Intricately big and bold patterns are in style so that is what our Affection Series will look like. The designs are catered to Cebu's local market and for tourists who visit our fine little island. This series is not in stores yet. Dad is on the works in transacting with people who could make this shirt series be available in our outlets in the future. I just pray that it will be soon. Here's the 1st design i made.

I'm honing my skills now so that in the future i could see my shirt designs be worn by people in different countries.
